On a strategic level, the objective of Micromap was to provide a reference framework to policy makers in the EU and national governments to stimulate the growth of micro and mini cogeneration and maximise the benefits of these environmentally, socially and commercially advantageous technologies. Micromap produced a study and development plan for mini and micro CHP, demonstrating its enormous potential in energy and CO₂ savings.
